LIVE AND WORK AS A MEDICAL DOCTOR IN POLAND

This is a 24 months junior doctor's postgraduate training and polish medical license programme that prepares you to practice as medical doctor in European union countries. This programme comes with partial scholarship and with monthly stipend of 1,500 euro for 13 months of your internship/training)

PROGRAMME FEATURES

PROGRAMME DETAILS
This is a programme for doctors that want to be licensed and practice in Poland. To practice in Poland, candidate must write a licensing exam in Poland. This programme will prepare the candidate for all the exams. The exams include: 

1. NIL Exam
NIL stands for Naczelna Izba Lekarska (The Polish Supreme Medical Chamber). However, when someone refers to the "NIL Exam" they usually mean the Preliminary Verification Exam organized by NIL for non-EU foreign-trained doctors.
• Purpose: It's not a standard exam, but an internal qualification or verification step used by NIL for recognizing foreign medical degrees (especially from outside the EU).
• Who takes it: International (non-EU) medical graduates applying to work in Poland as doctors.
• Context: Sometimes part of the initial recognition or nostrification process of a foreign medical degree.
• Administered by: NIL (Supreme Medical Chamber) in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.

2. LEK Exam
LEK stands for Lekarski Egzamin Końcowy (Final Medical Examination).
• Purpose: A mandatory licensing exam for medical graduates in Poland.
• Who takes it: All medical students graduating from Polish universities, or foreign-trained doctors (especially from non EU countries) who want to get licensed?
• When: Usually taken at the end of the 6-year medical program or during postgraduate training.
• Language: Usually in Polish, but some sessions may be available in English for foreign applicants. – We will prepare the candidate for the Police language and medical terminologies.
• Format: Multiple-choice questions covering a wide range of medical topics.
• Outcome: Passing LEK is required to obtain a full medical license in Poland.

3. PES Exam
PES stands for Państwowy Egzamin Specjalizacyjny (State Specialization Examination).
• Purpose: A national specialty exam for doctors who have completed a specialization training program (residency) in Poland.
• Who takes it: Licensed doctors completing their postgraduate specialization training (e.g. in cardiology, internal medicine, surgery, etc.).
• Outcome: Required to become a certified specialist in a medical field in Poland.
• Format: Written exam (MCQs) and in some cases, practical/oral components depending on the specialty.

After passing the Nitrification and NIL exams and completing your 13-month clinical internship, you will be eligible for the Polish Medical License, legally allowing you to practice in Poland and, based on EU Directive 2005/36/WE, also in other EU countries (depending on national regulations).

PROGRAMME STUCTURE

 Candidates who enroll for this programme will start by taking four to five months Polish language and polish medical terminology classes as part of their curriculum. This four to five months will be delivered online and the process of nostrification and visa processing we will be completed during this period. The cost of the language class is included in the tuition fee but the candidate must pay 250 Euro per month for the language class which will be deducted from the total tuition.
 Candidate will pay 300 Euro towards the nostrification and translation of documents and 100 Euro for admission application fee.
 Once the visa is granted, the candidate can travel to Poland to commence the programme.
 Tuition fee for this programme is 25,000 Euro, but we are offering a part scholarship of 10,000 Euro. Total tuition therefore will be 15,000 Euro which could be paid at 7,500 Euro prior to or after visa has been granted and 7,500 Euro after one year into the programme. This has to be paid directly into the schools account.
 The entire duration of the programme is between 24 to 30 months.

TUITION FEE AND PAYMENT TERMS

Admission Application (100 Euro) and document Nostrification Fee (300 Euro): Total 400 Euro. Tuition Fee: 25,000 Euro – Scholarship 10,000 Euro, Total 15,000 Euro. This can be paid in 2 installments of 7,500 Euro per year.

1,000 Euro (One Thousand Euro) – This can be paid after the visa is granted but the applicant must deposit it in a joint account with the partner before the commencement of the visa process.
