STEEL FIXERS

Number Of Personnels- 10 personnels
Location- Malta
Salary- €1,700 Euro per month
Schedule: 8 hours per day. 5 days a week.
Accommodation: Provided by the employer
Medical Insurance: As per Maltese labour Law
Duration of Work Permit: 1 year renewable
Age Range: 25-35 years old
Minimum Experience: Must have at least 5 years of experience
Required Certifications: Any relevant certifications proving the skill
Others: All other terms and conditions are according to Maltese Labour Law.

Job Description:

  • Cut, bend, and fix steel reinforcement bars (rebar) according to structural drawings.
  • Assemble steel cages for columns, beams, slabs, foundations, and retaining walls.
  • Read and interpret basic structural drawings and bar bending schedules.
  • Place steel reinforcement accurately with correct spacing, alignment, and cover.
  • Tie rebar using wire, clips, or mechanical fixing methods.
  • Install mesh, dowels, couplers, and spacers as required.
  • Ensure steel structures are stable before concrete pouring.
  • Coordinate with shuttering carpenters and concrete teams.
  • Inspect reinforcement for accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.
  • Assist in unloading, handling, and organizing steel materials on site
